Author Guidelines
To submit an article, you must register on the website and submit the article via the website.
Recommendations to the author before submitting an article
Submission of an article to the journal "Bulletin of the Siberian State Industrial University" implies that:
- the article has not been previously published in another journal;
- the article is not under consideration in another journal;
- all co-authors agree to the publication of the current version of the article.
Before sending an article for consideration, make sure that the file (files) contain all the necessary information in Russian and English, the sources of information placed in the figures and tables are indicated, all citations are formatted correctly.
Required documents for submitting an article
– an expert opinion of the organization on the possibility of open publication of the article (scan and paper copy).
A recommendation from the relevant department of the higher educational institution and an expert opinion should be attached to the manuscript.
In addition, permission from the rector or vice-rector of the higher education institution (for a non-educational enterprise - the head or his deputy) is required to publish the results of work performed in this university (enterprise).
- consent of the authors to publish the article (filled out separately for each author) (scan and paper copy);
- manuscript (in Word format) with a high-quality translation into English of the article metadata (article title, full names of authors, abstract, keywords) and bibliography.

Tables, bibliography and text under the figures should be presented on separate pages. The manuscript must include references to tables, figures and literary sources cited in the article.
Illustrations should be presented separately from the text on the information carrier. Explanatory captions in illustrations should be written in Times New Roman Italic font (Greek letters – in Symbol Regular font) size 9. Tone images, the size of which should not exceed 75x75 mm (photographs and other images containing shades of black), should be sent as raster graphic files (formats *.bmp, *.jpg, *.gif, *.tif) in the color scale "shades of gray" with a resolution of at least 300 dpi (dots per inch). Line drawings (graphs, block diagrams, etc.) should be presented in a "black and white" scale with a resolution of at least 600 dpi. Grid lines should not be applied to graphs, and experimental or calculated points (markers) should not be "filled" with black unless absolutely necessary. Line drawings created using the popular programs MS Excel, MS Visio, etc., should be submitted in the format of the original application (*.xls, *.vsd, etc.). On the back of the drawing there should be a serial number corresponding to the number of the drawing in the text, the names of the authors, and the title of the article. Formulas are entered clearly. The font design of physical quantities is as follows: Latin letters in light italic style, Russian and Greek letters in light upright style. Numbers and units of measurement are in light upright style. Particular attention should be paid to the correct display of indices and exponents. If formulas are typed using the formula editors Еquatn or Маth Type, make sure that the scale of the formulas is 100%. The scale is set in the "Object Format" dialog box. In the formula editor, use the "Mathematical" ("Маth") style for Latin and Greek letters, and the "Text" ("Text") style for Russian letters. The size is set by the "Full" style, for degrees and indexes - "Subscript / Sub-Subscript". It is unacceptable to use the "Other" style.
It is necessary to avoid repeating the same data in tables, graphs and the text of the article. The volume of the article should not exceed 8-10 pages of text, printed in 14 font with one and a half spacing, and three figures.
The manuscript must be carefully proofread, signed by the author (if there are several authors, the number of which should not exceed five - by all authors); at the end of the manuscript indicate the full name of the higher educational institution (enterprise) and department, the date of sending the manuscript, as well as full information about each author (full name, place of work, position, academic degree, title, business and home addresses with postal codes, telephone and e-mail). It is necessary to indicate with whom to correspond.
The literature cited in the article should not be given in the form of footnotes, but as a general list in the order in which it is mentioned in the article, with the reference indicated in the text by a serial number.
The list of literary sources is recommended to be no less than 20. The bibliography is prepared in accordance with GOST 7.2 - 2003: a) for books - the authors' last names and initials, the full title of the book, the volume number, the place of publication, the publisher and the year of publication, the total number of pages; b) for journal articles - the authors' last names and initials, the full title of the journal, the article title, the year of publication, the volume number, the issue number, the pages occupied by the article; c) for articles from collections - the authors' last names and initials, the collection title, the article title, the place of publication, the publisher, the year of publication, who owns it, the number or issue, the pages occupied by the article.
Foreign surnames and terms should be given in the text in Russian transcription, in the bibliographic list the surnames of the authors, the full titles of books and journals are given in the original transcription.
References to unpublished works are not allowed.
The article must be accompanied by an abstract in two copies of at least 1/2 page of text, printed in 14 font with one and a half spacing, as well as keywords.
At the end of the article, it is necessary to provide in English: the title of the article, the full names of the authors, their place of work, the abstract and keywords.
Brief communications must have independent scientific significance and be characterized by novelty and originality. They are intended.
