Architecture and construction
The main stages of establishment and development of the Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering of the Siberian State Industrial University are presented. Photomaterials are provided by the Department of Architecture of the Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
In the article conducts a historical review of the creation and development of the Department of Architecture within the university, its impact on the formation, development of the SibSIU Architectural and Construction Institute over the past 60 years.
А vehicle and pedestrian traffic layout in Topolniki in Novokuznetsk as an integral component of their inevitable future reorganization is proposed. A functional safe layout of the flow of pedestrian and vehicle movement, calculated for the current and future modes of operation area is given. The hypothetical diagram is revealed on the example of one particular junction lay-out.
Based on the research, project of protection of a newly identified cultural heritage site in Novokuznetsk, Kemerovo region (Kuzbass) – "House of technology of the "Kuibyshevugol" trust – built in the mid-1940s. The building is interesting in terms of history and cultural interest, as well as architectural and urban planning. The paper describes characteristics of the spatial planning and architectural composition of the historical building, defines the style, describes the current state, level of preservation of all its original elements, boundaries of the protected area with coordination, sets the mode of use of the territory, and identifies the subject of protection of the studied object of cultural heritage.
The results of the survey and assessment of the technical condition of the engineer constructions of the building of the decomposition area are presented The reasons for the occurrence of defects and damages are analyzed. Constructive solutions for the repair and partial replacement of building structures are proposed.
The essence of the application of the Department of Architecture of Siberian State Industrial University to the Committee for Housing and Utilities of Novokuznetsk administration is described. It concerns the selection of the territory of the city administrative center for the urban land improvement financed by the federal program.
The purpose of the research work: to study the Genesis of the planning structure of the historical quarter of Novokuznetsk-sotsgorod, to identify problems in the development of its historical, cultural, architectural and spatial environment. The paper analyzes data on the history of social City development (development of the 1930’s), systematizes them, identifies architectural and urban planning features and patterns of formation of the historical and modern environment of the city quarter.
A developed model of a powdered granule formed from two raw materials is presented. The model is based on a conditional segmentation into zones: the core zone, the transition zone and the shell zone. The developed method for calculating the multicomponent charge composition for the formation of ceramic matrix composites with required physical, mechanical and decorative properties is presented. An example of the calculation of a granular charge from clay raw materials and manganese-containing technogenic waste for decorative ceramic brick with framework-colored structure is given. The optimal amount of the coloring additive in the amount of 7 % of the charge weight is calculated. In the laboratory conditions, brown decorative ceramics is obtained from the calculated compositions using technogenic waste with a low content of manganese chromophores.
Metallurgy and Materials Science
The results of the study of the resistance of aluminum-periclase-carbon-bearing ladle linings are presented. The dependence of the lining durability on the campaign time per one melt is shown.
Automation and information technology
The interface and functionality of a software package for mathematical modeling of ventilation networks are considered. This interface is actively used in the mining industry in Russia and the CIS countries. Mathematical modeling in the software package is based on the air distribution equations and the laws of networks. Using an approach based on a real mine topology, the “Ventilation” software allows not only the air distribution problem to be solved, but also the speed of people moving along the mine workings to be calculated, where the angle of inclination of the drift, its length and height are important.
Ecology and rational use of natural resources
Methods for evaluating ferrous metallurgy wastes as raw materials for producing filler and clinker-free slag cement are considered. As an alternative to the known methods, the basicity coefficient of silicate materials (Kbas) is proposed for qualitative and quantitative assessment of the mineral composition of industrial waste. A diagram of the area of change in the basicity coefficient of rocks and the location of the studied industrial waste of Kuzbass in it and, accordingly, the area of their application for obtaining construction materials is shown. Its quantitative and qualitative mineralogical composition is presented, and the calculation of slag cement components using metallurgical slag basicity coefficients is shown.
Education and Pedagogy
Algorithms for calculating bending reinforced concrete elements based on the strength of sections normal and inclined to the longitudinal axis of the element are presented. The results of a comparative analysis on the use of polymer-composite reinforcement in bent concrete elements are given.
