SPECIFIC FEATURES OF SOCIAL REHABILITATION OF DISABLED PEOPLE IN THE REGION (THE EXAMPLE OF THE KEMEROVO REGION)
Abstract
At the current stage of development in Russian society, there is an urgent need to develop and implement new approaches to implementing social policy for people with disabilities and shift the focus of its implementation to the regions. N.I. Lapin notes that a region is both an object of state governance and a subject thereof. Regional authorities oversee the activities of subordinate organizations and regulate the region's political, administrative, social, and industrial infrastructure. A specific, practical description of a region allows us to present a set of indicators (indicators, indices) characterizing the state and dynamics of a given community, the quality of life, and the social well-being of its various strata, and, in accordance with these indicators, to formulate an individual social policy system for a given entity.
