FORECASTING QUALITY CHARACTERISTICS OF STEEL OF THE BRAND 20GFL
Abstract
An audit of the 20GFL steel smelting process in DSP-6 arc furnaces at the Rubtsovsk branch of Altaivagon JSC revealed issues related to defective steel due to mechanical properties. Despite the chemical composition of 20GFL steel being within the limits established by GOST 977-88, there were instances where the mechanical properties of the samples tested did not meet regulatory requirements.
