LOKHOV-PRAGUE MSHANKS OF THE WESTERN PART OF THE ALTAI-SAYAN FOLDED REGION
Abstract
On the northeastern slope of Salair, the Lochkov-Prague mosses were studied in the area of Guryevsk. In the Tolstochikha quarry, in the upper limestone package of the Tomchumysh suite, the mosses, first discovered by E.A. Elkin, are represented by Lioclema netshlavense Astr. (determined by G.G. Astrova). The species Liocle ma netshlavense Astr. is found in the upper part of the Borshchov horizon of the Lokhkovsky stage of Podolia [1] and in the same-age deposits of the North-Eastern Balkhash region [2]. Later, in the Tolstochikha quarry, Cyphotrypa variabile Mesent. [3] was found in the upper limestone package of the Tomchumysh formation, and in In the Staroguryevsky quarry, in the clay limestones of the Krekovo horizon, there are isolated colonies of Anomalotoechus sp. of poor preservation. Thus, in the stratotype sections of the Lokhovsky stage of the North-Eastern Salair,[4] the bryozoans are represented by Lioclema netshlaven se Astr., Cyphotrypa variabile Mesent., Anomalo toechus sp. In the dry suite and deposits of the Pet tsevsky horizon of the Lokhovsky stage.
