THE HISTORY OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOUTH-KUZBASS CITIES OF KUZNETSK AND PROKOPYEVSK IN THE CONTEXT OF VITRUVIUS' PRINCIPLES
Abstract
One of the oldest books on architecture was written by the Roman architect Vitruvius, who lived approximately in the first half of the first century BC. His work, "Ten Books on Architecture," is an encyclopedia of urban planning and the culture of Ancient Rome, in which the author systematizes disparate information on architecture and brings together numerous Greek sources.
