SOLVING TECHNICAL PROBLEMS USING THE DALEMBERT PRINCIPLE
Abstract
D'Alembert's principle was formulated in 1743 and is one of the general principles of mechanics. Other names found in the literature include the kinetostatic method, the St. Petersburg principle, and the Hermann-Euler-D'Alembert principle.
