Abstract

Historical overview of important events and transformations of the Faculty of Mechanics into the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport is presented. Achivements, prospects and significant events of the institute units over a period of 60 years are given. Identified are targets and prospects of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Transport in future.
