Abstract
The article provides historical, educational and scientific review of the Chairs of the Institute of Mining and Geosystems of the Siberian State Industrial University on the eve of its 70th anniversary. The issues of its establishment, status and prospects for further development of the Institute of Mining and Geosystems are stated in detail and chronological accuracy.
