Машиностроение не может совершенствоваться без развития теоретических оснований к методам синтеза и конструирования машин. Является естественным, что новые машины, приходящие взамен морально и физически устаревших, оказываются более сложными с точки зрения их структуры и методов расчета на стадии проектирования. Наиболее широкое применение в технике имеют плоские шарнирные механизмы. Именно в этом направлении к настоящему времени накоплен богатый теоретический и практический опыт.

Mechanical engineering cannot advance without developing the theoretical foundations for methods of synthesizing and designing machines. It's natural that new machines replacing obsolete and obsolete ones are more complex in terms of their structure and calculation methods at the design stage. Flat hinge mechanisms are the most widely used in engineering. A wealth of theoretical and practical experience has been accumulated in this area to date.
